2008 Peace Poster Contest

The Edmonton Chinese Lions Club adopted two schools for the 2008 Peace Poster Contest: Mother Theresa and Parkdale schools. The theme for this year was Peace Begins with Me.

A total of 17 posters were submitted from both schools. The judges for the contest were members of the Edmonton Chinese Lions Club and the Omega Achievers Leos Club.

Judging was based on originality, artistic merit and expression of the theme Peace Begins with Me. The posters below were selected and advanced to the District 37L for further judging.

Mother Theresa Grade 6 student Flordeliz Eloisa Yabes and Parkdale Grade 7 student Brittany Ngo were the winners.

Congratulations to both!
